I miss you so much. Just had another dream about you. In it, Melody and I were singing in the audience during some sort of church event or recital. And as we sang, you sort of materialized in the seat between us and started singing. We were so excited to see you but couldn't believe our eyes. You kept holding our hands and smiling. It was beautiful. Then we told you if you had to go, it was ok, because we sensed you were just on a brief mission to come bring us peace and comfort. And then you slowly disappeared.
Also worth noting is my recent walk through the Hills with my dog. I was thinking of you, getting a bit demanding with God, asking Him for a sign that you were still around me in some form. Just as I was getting frustrated with myself for being so greedy, a huge monarch butterfly fluttered past no more than a foot from my face. It flitted about for around 15 seconds before flying off. I couldn't help but notice its fiery orange/red color, much like your hair... :)
Love you J. Bless you Mike and Mel. She will be in my heart always.

Dear Melody,Michael, family and friends Your mom and I were friends in our 20's. I was her tennis instructor. I remember the first time she walked out on the court,I was struck by her presence. So strong and confident and beautiful, and a very good tennis player, but that wasn't what struck me the most. What struck me was her connection to the spirit. I could feel it the minute she walked through the gate. Janelle and I had alot in common and we became very good friends. Through the years I moved alot, Northern ca. Washington, but we stayed in touch, and we got together,a fair amount of the time.I returned to the L.A. area for about six months before I ended up living in Portland Oregon, and thats when I got to spend some time with you Melody and Michael. Melody, you were around six yrs old and very pretty and smart, and michael, you were just a little guy,so cute and happy and full of life.We all had alot of fun.We went to the movies and the playground, and out to dinner.I got to see how much your mother loved you. Janelle was a very deep soul. She connected into a place far from our three demensional world. Some would call it God,I would call it the universe the spirit world. She was a very magical and special person. Once I had a little three week old puppy named Brick,And he was at deaths door, and Janelle picked him up in her hands and you could feel this energy come from her. It filled up the room. Suddenly,Brick opend his eyes, lifted his head, and proceded to stand up,full of life.I had him for ten years.Thats the kind of energy Janelle had.By the way that dog Brick was Janelle's dog Oscars son. They were all redheads. tee hee! After I moved to oregon,we kept in touch for a while, but, with space and time we lost track of each other. On Dec. 23,2010 Janelle came to me in a dream. She just stood there and smiled, and I said,hi Janelle, it,s good to see you, you look good ,and then she was gone.I awakend feeling something wasn,t right and wondering why I had that dream. Then I realized it was her birthday. But I had this overwhelming feeling I needed to find her. So,I began my search. The picture began to unfold and ended with this obituary. My heart sank.Janelle was no longer with us in the physical world. I was filled with such sadness. I liked knowing she was here and that one day we might connect in again.I had planned to and I am so sorry I missed my chance. So,I connect in with you Melody and Michael to tell you how sorry I am and to speak of how speacial yor mom was.How strong and couragious.I wish only good things for the two of you. And to Janelles family,I know how hard it is to lose a sister, and how hard it is for a parent to lose a daughter and I send you prayers of love and hope you find the comfort in each other, and in your memorys to carry you through. And to you Judd, you will always have her in those two beautiful children, and for that you are lucky.Take care. And to all of her friends. We were lucky to have her as our friend. And finally,Heres to you Janelle,You were full of life and love and fun and funny,Oh,so funny.Your passion was overwhelming at times, your spirit so very strong. You were more than a beautiful voice, more than your physical beauty, you were a beautiful soul.I will miss you and forever hold you in my heart until we meet again. Your friend, Kristi Somers

Dear Michael and family,
Please accept my sympathy during this difficult time. You are in my prayers. I still have the African tape your talented mom made for our first grade performance at Lang Ranch.
Sincerely,
