Louis Bardfield Obituary

Bardfield, Louis, 75, Passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011.

An Emmy award wining television engineer for his work with ABC during the 1984 Olympics, Mr. Bardfield also worked for many years bringing us the Rose Parade on KTLA, and as the chief engineer at KBEH.

Survived by his beloved wife Deanna, dear children Stephen (JoAnn), Harris and Ellen Powers, grandchildren Garrett and Stephanie and twin brothers.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday (this afternoon) at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.

Thoughts and Prayers To Uncle Lou and his Family !!!! I still remember as a kid him taking us Gold Mining and Rock Polishing !!

Lou continued to the end to practice his craft in the best traditions of broadcast engineering. His "can do" attitude, willingness to solve problems, and his classic, memorable cheerful outlook on his health challenges should serve as an inspiration to us all.

We will all miss you, Lou!
