Mary Angela Froba (1909 2010) passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 29 surrounded by family at her daughter's home.
She assured them, I will be waiting for you in Heaven.
Daughters, Jane Metzler from Red Bluff and Mary Shepherd (Walt) from Newbury Park, and son David Froba (Sharon) from Modesto, cared for her in her last days. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Paul Froba, and their son, Paulie. She left 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 15 great, great grandchildren.
Angela was the essence of a good and faithful servant. She lived a humble life, enjoying everything she could; she modeled a gentle but strong spirit that conquered things that should have been impossible; her love endured until the very end, when she was still thinking of others rather than herself. She showed those who loved her how to grow old with grace and acceptance; she focused on the positives of life, never deterred by obstacles. She often seemed bigger than life and she will be missed so much; the woman that she was will be impossible to replace.
She will always be our Angel a!

Dear Bib, David and Jane. Your mother was the heart and soul of this family and held it together when life gave it a big jolt many years ago. her memory will ever but a reminder of the love she shared with all of us. She is now together with God and all those she cared for.

I am writing on behalf of my Mother and Father, Mildred (Millie) & Cliff Birnie who are deceased. They enjoyed Angie & Paul in bowling, conversations and many get togethers. My Mom loved her lunches with the "Lunch Bunch" girls which Angie was a part of. People liked being around them. Bless them both and bless Daughter Mary Shepard who was so instrumental in getting Paul and Angie where they needed to be.

Aunt Ann was a remarkable person. I will especially treasure the days she shared with us celebrating her 100th birthday. Though far in distance, she is close to our hearts.

Aunt Ann was so open all of her life to new ideas and ways of looking at things. She was compassionate to those less fortunate, tolerant of those who were different, and accepting of life's diversity. We were all children of God in her eyes.
