A naval veteran of World War II, he worked for Lockheed Aircraft from his senior year at Hollywood High School until his retirement. His work at Lockheed totaled 54 years. He started college at the age of 40 and 24 years later he graduated with a Master's degree in computer science.
He leaves behind a son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, grandson, granddaughter, and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service in his memory will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 11 at Forest Lawn in Hollywood Hills.
