I met Irene years ago, when she shopped Target in Victorville. She had such a wonderful personality, and beautiful smile. It is evident by the guest book, she made a deep impression on her friends, and was truly loved, because she was able to share her love with so many. God bless Irene's family at this sad time. Take comfort in the Lord, He will help you through your sorrow.

Irene was a very dedicated and loyal steward to all her ministries at St. Joseph Church. She loved to serve God and His people. Irene spent many hours not only praying for others but serving in her ministry of hospitality to St. Joseph Parish. Irene always said yes when asked to put together food for meetings and gatherings, this was something she loved to do. Irene, thank you for your service, thank you for your friendship, thank you for your beautiful smile and most of all thank you for your love. You will be missed but not forgotten. God Bless your family.

My memory is a little different than most. I do remember Irene as being one of the sweetest people I have ever met. But someone tell me that my memory is correct and that Irene did indeed work at K-Mart in the Barstow Mall sometime between the mid to late 70's possibly through "81? I remember working with her there. And she was the sweetest, kindest employee of all...I adored her!!! I guess it was after that that she went to work at Stater Bros. I saw her sweet, smiley face at Stater Bros. and always remembered her from K-Mart. While I didn't go there very often, on the rare occasions that I did go to the Deli, I saw Irene and remembered my time having worked with her. And she had the very same smile I had always remembered...she was a wonderful woman and I feel so lucky to have known her...She was definitely one of the best human beings that has EVER walked the earth!!!! I am so saddened by her passing!!! My deepest sympathy to her family and to you Irene...I will see your smiling face again someday!!!

Irene was a wonderful neighbor and friend. Over the years we would often run into each other and she would always ask how my daughter was doing. Irene was very compassionate. When I moved out of the area I made sure to say good bye to my friend, not realizing that it would be the last time. I will miss her and her beautiful smile and caring spirit.
