Janet Dozier Obituary
A native Texan, Janet was a 1963 magna cum laude graduate of Baylor University, a Baylor Beauty of 1949, a 1948 graduate of Waco High School, a member of Austin Avenue Methodist Church and the Waco Historical Society.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William J. "Buzz" Dozier III; her son, William J. "Buzzy" Dozier IV; and her parents, William T. and Hertha Albritton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name, to your local chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Dear Cynthia, Long time my friend. Your mom, "Joyce" as we used to call her I remember as always being so kind to me. I have often reflected on how I always felt that I had family in Waco when mine had dwindlled to so few members. Having just learned of Joyce's passing, please forgive me for not having contacted you and your family sooner. I did not know where you were. My best to you and yours. Be well and happy. Nan Wray

Dear Cynthia, Your mom was such a sweet lady. With your help, she faithfully came for all of her dental appts. She was a lady in her 80's who had a warm and beautiful smile of someone much younger. She loved to talk about her family and was so proud of her grandsons and thankful for her family. I'm sure that all of you made her days meaningful. My sincerest sympathies on the loss of you mom, someone so dear and special to all of you.

We are so sorry for the loss of Janice. She was such a sweet & gentle woman (except when she was playing Angry Birds :) )!!!. Our lives have been enriched by knowing her & are grateful that we had an opportunity to know & care for her!
