Mary - how you will be missed - and how much a part of the fabric of our family you were...you were there through it all...I know that somewhere down the road, you and my mom will be meeting halfway to exchange dresses. Took me awhile to realize that's why the Beltway was built.
Love and more, your niece Catherine (aka "Kak).

Mary, you were an example of talent, kindness, faith. and love. As a bright young woman and an older, elegant woman, you were the proud matriarch of your wonderful family. People loved you because you saw them with your loving eyes for their good. Well, God has you in his palm, and we have you in our hearts, fond memories and prayers. When I went to your 50th anniversary, someone said you and your husband were the salt of the earth. I did relay that to you or Charles in a note. That is such a gift! We have all been blessed to know you.
Fondly,
