Ernest Lent Obituary
LENT ERNEST EUGENE LENT, JR. Ernest Eugene Lent, Jr. 89, of Arlington, Virginia, passed away at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA, on Tuesday, June, 8, 2010. Ernest is survived by his partner, Carole Brown of Arlington, VA; three sons, Ernest Eugene Lent, III, and his wife, Kathleen Lent of Miami, FL, Eric Marcus Lent of Holly Hill, FL and Robin Christopher Lent, and his wife, Dolly Lent, M.D. of Centennial, CO; three grandchildren, Heather Lent-Leiber, and her husband, Mark Leiber of Annandale, VA, Brandon Lent of Centennial, CO and Jason Lent of Centennial, CO and three great-grandchildren, Jacob Ernest Leiber, Anna Jean Leiber and Benjamin Lent Leiber. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Eugene Lent, Sr. and Edna (Brehm) Lent and his sister, Edna Louise Haas. A Celebration of Ernest''s Life will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, 4444 Arlington Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22204 on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. A "Natural Burial" will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Civil Liberties Union, 125 Broad Street, 18th Floor, New York, NY 10004, www.aclu.org or to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, www.uucava.org . Arrangements were handled by Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Cremation and Funeral Care, P.A., Annapolis, MD. Online condolences may be made at www.fhnfuneralhome.com

Tony was such a special person. He will be missed by many. I feel blessed to have had him in my life. My memories of his kindness, thoughtfulness, humor and intellegence will always be with me. This has to be a difficult time for all of you, but at least you have loving memories of him, and of his love for you. I am thinking of all of you.

So very sorry to hear of Tony's death. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have great memories of Uncle Tony taking us to the beach [my first time to see the ocean] and just showing us a fun time that summer in the sixties.
