JAMES R. OWENS (Age 85)
On Wednesday, May 11, 2016 of Bethesda, MD. Loving husband of Anne O''Keeffe Owens of 59 years. Beloved father of James G., Kathleen Owens Schoshinski, Daniel B., Michael J., Brendan T. and Kevin C.; Poppa of 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Rosemary Vogt. Family and friends will be received at PUMPHREY''S BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE FUNERAL HOME, 7557 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD on Sunday, May 15 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4900 Strathmore Ave., Garrett Park, MD 20896 on Monday, May 16 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cure Search for Children''s Cancer, 4600 East West Highway, Ste. 600, Bethesda, MD 20814; and Trout Unlimited, 1777 North Kent St., Ste. 100, Arlington, VA 22209.
