Natalie Smith Bouquet
On Saturday June 4, 2016, Natalie Smith Bouquet of Chevy Chase, Maryland. Beloved wife of Dr. Jean-Pierre Bouquet and devoted mother of Jacqueline Bouquet, Michele Bouquet and Edouard Bouquet. Sister of Victor Smith and the late Maurine Starr. Adored grandmother of Nicholas Bouquet, Alexandrina Kay, Christopher Sievering, Genevieve Bouquet, Samantha Sievering, Josephine Bouquet, Jean-Pierre Bouquet II, Jackson Bouquet, and Griffin Bouquet; and great-grandmother of Isabella Kay. A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 8, 2016 from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m., at Joseph Gawler''s Sons, 5130 Wisconsin Avenue NW. Washington, DC 20016. Interment will be private. The family requests that memorial contributions in Natalie Smith Bouquet''s name may be made to The American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org

JP, I was so very sorry to hear of Natalie's passing. I greatly enjoyed knowing her and working with her during my time on the WDC board. Natalie's devotion to the organization was so admirable, and she set a wonderful example for all who came after her to follow. JP: I met Natalie just shortly after I met you, in the 4620 NP Library, of course!, and knew instantly that the two of you were soul-mates. As I've come to know both of you these past eight years, my admiration for your life-partnership has only grown. God has belssed you and kept you both in life, and will do so now in your time of need. You and your wonderful family are in my prayers.
