Dear Ann and all the Carneys. We missed the announcement and heard the sad news from our son John only 15 minutes before the funeral Mass. We just couldn't "get it together" fast enough to join you. We"ll miss Brian and will keep him and all of you in our prayers.

Brian was a wonderful colleague and a true friend. We often had lunch together and he was always interested in family life outside of IBM. He also took great care of the people that worked for him when he was a project executive. You were very lucky to have such a warm and wonderful person in your family.
