Milton Dofflemyer Obituary

DOFFLEMYER, MILTON AMISS (DOFFY)

On Thursday, February 19, 2004 of Silver Spring, MD. Mr. Dofflemyer, a firefighter retired after 28 years from the Washington, DC Fire Department and served as a life member with the Silver Spring Volunteer Fire Department. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Mae Dofflemyer; loving father of Mark and Alan Dofflemyer and Diane Meadows; brother of Minnie Hensley; grandfather of Angela Coffman and great-grandfather of Marshall Adams. He is also survived by brothers and sisters firefighters of Silver Spring, MD and Washington, D.C. Friends may call on Monday, February 23, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at HINES RINALDI FUNERAL HOME, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 12621 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring. Interment church cemetery. Family will graciously accept flowers or contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
