William Banks Obituary

BANKS WILLIAM SYLVESTER BANKS, SR. Of Washington, DC, departed Tuesday, March 3, 2009. He is the devoted, beloved husband of Lillie Mae Banks; father of Barbara Johnson, LaVerne Jones and William Banks, Jr. He is also survived by three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother, four sisters, other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday, March 12, 9 a.m., service 11 a.m. at Alexander Memorial Baptist Church, 2709 N St. N.W., Georgetown, DC. Interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Services by JOHNSON AND JENKINS.
