DONALD WAYNE FORESTER (Age 74)
Of Springfield, VA on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Sycamore Medical Center in Miamisburg, Ohio. Beloved husband of Sherrena Forester; loving father of Julia Stapor (Kurt) and Dr.Laura Hunt (Michael); devoted grandfather of Jennifer Sanders (Cody), Abigail Weikert, Alexander Weikert, Nicholas Weikert, Sebastian Weikert and Michaela Hunt. Donald is also survived by siblings, Carolyn Dodson and Sandra Moore.A visitation will be held, Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church, 8200 Old Keene Mill Rd., Springfield, VA. Interment will be held Saturday, September 9, 2011 at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Donald's honor be made to Westwood Baptist Church. Sheena, Julie, Laura, Jennifer, and all the grandchildren: Steve, Chris, Kerry and I send you our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved husband, father, and grandfather. May your pain now soften to dreamy memories of all the good times spannning your 52 years together. Dearest Sheena ... some of our fondest memories of living in Virginia are the times we spent with you and Don. He was one of those special guys -- always there, always seemed to understand and care.
