Doris Akre Obituary

AKRE DORIS V. AKRE On December 4, 2008, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Jack Akre, loving mother of Kathy (Dave) Carpenter, Dianna Barton, Debra (Mike) Barrett, Brenda Akre and John Akre, Jr., loving grandmother of six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, four brothers, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA on Friday, December 5, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Adams-Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Capital Hospice www.capitalhospice.org
