I only met Irene twice, but the first time I met her I knew is was a very special lady, She and George came to my and Kyle's wedding and I had never had the chance to meet them before hand. It was my pleasure to have them both attend. I wish I could have spent more time getting to know her. I loved Dorothy with all my heart and I know that I would have loved Irene as much. Irene and Dorthy are together now and life is great for them both once again, no pains, illness, or lonliness for each anymore. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a wonderful family.

My deepest sympathies to the Abid family. I hope that your memories bring you comfort and the love you share brings you peace. Irene was a beautiful lady - inside and out. Her laugh was infectious and her smile radiated such warmth. A gentle woman with great inner strength. I know that you have an angel in heaven now and she is watching over all of you. God bless you all.

George:
Even though I only knew Irene for a few years, I enjoyed our banter over the phone. I would laugh when she would say, "please tell me you're playing golf and take George with you."
You know that Cathie and I are here for you. Take care good friend.

Dear George and family,
Although in recent years we haven't been as "close" as we used to be, I still treasure the days when the gang met nearly once a month. The good times we had with Millers, Boradailes, Fords, etc. were priceless. One by one the old gang is dwindling and I shall miss Irene as tho I'd seen her last month and the beautiful picture will remind me often. Lets keep in touch as we have for years. Love to your entire family. I'm now in MA. and sorry that I'm unable to be at Arlington with you all.

Dear Mom,
I am sorry I could not kiss you one more time and say goodbye. I am so grateful for your love and staminia. You will continue to be a model of strength and faith for me as I live without you. I wish you a peaceful rest and know you are with God and joined with your sisters again. I feel your gentle smile on us, especially for your "Anthony". Keep him safe. I will be with you again some day. Love, Joanne
