Jane F. Kennedy (Age 92)
At Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, Maryland on May 24, 2018. Formerly of Bethesda; daughter of the late Robert M. Kennedy and Mary A. Hayes Kennedy; loving sister of the late Sister M. Francesca Kennedy, C.S.C. and the late Revered Joseph M. Kennedy, S.J. A graduate of Dumbarton College with a Master's Degree in Library Science from Catholic University, Jane rose to be the Head Librarian of the US Postal Service. Funeral arrangements are private. Jane Kennedy's my Godmother and was always a very kind and generous person. Jane was a also a great teacher and introduced me to many great literary works. My family lived across the street from Jane when I was growing up and we shared many great times together!! She will be greatly missed.

Jane was a dear friend for most of my lifetime. Her Mother and Father were like grandparents to me. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy, Mary Ann, Joe and Jane are again together in Heaven. "All things are passing. . .God only matters."

Jane was my wife's cousin. We were long-time friends and frequent visitors to Jane both at her home and, later, when she moved to Riderwood. She was an articulate, well-read, witty, stylish individual who was extremely generous and caring. She got to know our children and grandchildren over the years and always took pictures of them on her iPad and also always had a little gift for them during the visit. I'll especially miss her intelligent conversations, both in person and by phone. Jane was a lovely person who now is in peace with her sister and brother in heaven.

Jane was the first manager I had in the US Postal Service. I learned a lot from her in my early years.

Jane was a wonderful person that was always up to the challenge and a true professional. I am a big admirer of her spunk and positive attitude in life. I know she will be a shining light in Heaven.
I have been very blessed to have known and worked with Jane for many years. The world needs more like Jane Kennedy. May she rest in peace.
