SUZANNE GRACE POLL (Age 88)
On Sunday, July 24, 2016, of Kensington, MD, passed away peacefully in her home. Beloved wife of Kenneth O. Poll; mother of John, Chris (Anne), Larry (Colleen) and Ken Leber; also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Throughout her life of 88 years as a wife, mother and nurse, she had such a positive influence on so many people. She will be deeply missed but her spirit will continue to help us forever. Memorial Service at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. Suzanne was my only cousin on my father'said side and was my first babysitter. I appreciated her drive, intellect in investigating, documenting our family roots. I also cherish papa's old tennis racket which she dug out of the attic and gave to me several years ago. I am carrying on tennis tradition and playing regularly.

Suzanne was my only cousin on my father's side. She was thirteen years older but I remember her with warm fondness. I am a nurse also. May I extend my deepest sympathy to her family on their loss. May God bless you all and keep you safe.

Mrs. Poll was my neighbor in Kensington for 14 years. She was a very kind woman and very sweet to my boys. I thoroughly enjoyed her company and loved having her as my neighbor. The love that Mr. and Mrs. Poll had for each other was evident every day in their life. They were true partners. She will be truly missed.
