Virginia Keeter Obituary

KEETER VIRGINIA ESTHER KEETER Virginia Esther Keeter, 68, died on February 7, 2008 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital, VA. She is survived by one son John C. Keen, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Springfield, VA, along with two grandchildren, Shannon L. Keen and Matthew A. Keen; a niece by marriage and loving caregiver, Carol A. Rexrode of Centreville, VA and family members in Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey. Preceded in death by her parents James Allen and Myrle Louise (Knouse) Schultz, along with her sister Shirley Lee Forbes, Virginia was a very active person spending most of her time with family and friends. She enjoyed her floral crafts, planting flowers along with making floral arrangements. Everyone is invited to celebrate Virginia‘s life 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at MOUNTCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 4143 Dale Blvd , Dale City, VA. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at funeral home chapel.

I didn't know your mom, John, but Mike spoke fondly of her on many occasions. I know this is a difficult time for you, Lisa, Shannon, and Matt and I know there's nothing that can be said to make it any easier but please know that my thoughts are with you all and if there is anything you need, we're right next door - anytime, you know that.
