To the Litt family, I just found out about Danny's passing. Truly sad. What a great guy and golfer. I was honored to sponsor him at Congressional. I had an extra glass of wine in his honor.

David and Jordan, you don't know who I am, but I grew up with your mother in Perth Amboy (I knew her from nursery school age). I first met your dad when I was in law school, when I shared a house in Silver Spring with both of them. I was devastated when Ann passed away so suddenly. Last saw Dan a few years ago, when I was visiting DC--he took me to a Nationals game while there. Both of your parents were wonderful people, and I truly mourn their passing. I wish both of you all the best.

Dan was a dear friend and trusted counsel for over 20 years. His infectious smile, enthusiasm, energy and sharp wit made doing business with him always a pleasure. You hired Dan because you wanted the best. He was the toughest most creative litigator you could find and his presence inspired confidence. Dan gave us all the greatest lesson in courage and strength watching him battle the ravages of cancer over more years than I can believe. I remember standing in a court room with him over 5 years ago and he was barely recovered from chest surgery. He didn't need to be there and most people would not have even attempted such a feat but Dan couldn't be deterred. He was obviously still in pain and had to hold his chest as he stood. He started slowly but within minutes it was clear to everyone in the courtroom including the judge that the opposing team of lawyers had better go back to work because they were clearly outmatched. We will miss you Dan! Your stories, your smile, laugh and teaching us all to never give up!
