Elinor - I hope and pray that you have found peace now and that your family finds comfort in that. You are missed dearly at school. I will certainly miss seeing you in the hallway, at team meetings, and your smile. And how could I forget that cane!!! You were a wonderful person, teacher, friend and colleague. We will never forget, and we are so lucky to have such wonderful memories to carry with us.

To the Belk Family, I will miss - but always remember - Elinor's sharp sense of humor, and keen fashion sense! She was a classy lady, who was always interesting and enjoyable to talk to. It is hard to imagine not seeing her in the halls of Daniels Run from day to day, but I can still hear her laugh echoing in the recesses of my mind and heart. Our thoughts are with your family, and we will miss Elinor very much. With my deepest condolences,

Elinor's passing came as quite a shock to all of us at Daniels Run. She had such a passion for working with students. I will miss seeing her everyday, her humor in the lunch room, and her ability to make light in any situation.

(reposted from Facebook)"Elinor, I can hear your cane coming down the hallway, ready to complain about the emails you got overnight! LOL I'm glad you won't need your "3rd leg" anymore. I'm sad on the outside, but rejoicing on the inside. God knows what He's doing!"
Elinor and Mary, my heart goes out to you both and the rest of your family. Your mom talked about you all with such love and adoration! Please know my prayers are with you. I will miss my room mate and making her laugh everyday.

Elinor, your mom will be missed. I will always remember her sense of humor as well as her passion for helping children. She knew each of her students well and prided herself in being there for them. I hope you find some comfort in knowing that your mom left wonderful memories for those who knew her. We will be praying for you and your families.

Mary'D'and Elinor'B', I'm so sorry to hear about your Mother. She and I graduated in the same class from Westhampton and I have seen her here in the area at alumnae functions. She was a great lady, so fun loving and full of life. She will be missed. Shirley Hill Bishop

12/18/11-Dear Elinor: I hope your family can still "hear" your words of wisdom. I know that after only a year and a half of having known you at Daniels Run that your words will always be with me. When I said I "Missed" you this week it was only because you had moved to a classroom downstairs. My heart goes out to your family. Please, rest in peace. Love and Respect to you and yours, Amy Cohen
