Elmer Pendleton will live in the heart's of many forever: his best friend and loving wife Anne, his children, grandchildren, soldiers and friends. He was a hero, role model to all that knew him and touch many that did not know him personally but knew of him. He wiil be missed here on earth but we all have many beautiful memories that will be with us for our lifetime. He is at peace.

Anne,
As Patti and I shared in your laughter over these many years, so too do we share in your sorrow. The world is a much better place for Elmer's contributions; there are several generations of military officers who owe their education and success to Elmer's tutelege. We honor him and you in our shared stories.
