Growing up I spent a lot of time at Joanne's house as I was best friends with older brother Jeff, She was like a little sister to me in a lot of ways and I think fondly of her still.

I met her as the title sister of my best friend when I was in grade school. she was a good kid then and as someone who eventually lived in the same neighborhood as me after college always someone nice to run into.

As a close friend of her older brother Jeff , I was one of those persons fortunate enough to have known Joanne on from the time when she was a baby and for much of her life, though we had been a bit out of contact from a number of years now. She was a person who would brighten any room she was in and will be missed.
