I also worked with Jay at GAO and can think of no one who exhibited higher personal and professional standards than Joe. I was saddened greatly to learn of his passing, and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Jay was a true gentleman whom we were privileged to know. We cherish our friendship with you both. We've shared great times in the mountains of Tennessee and the beaches of North Carolina, as well as in our homes. Ron and I send our love across the miles. We know your faith is strong and we pray God will sustain you and the rest of the family through the coming days.
