Lehman Young Obituary
LEHMAN H. YOUNG, SR.
Passed away on March 6, 2012. He was born January 24, 1916. He leaves behind children, Deborah Young, Pamela Walker, Lehman H Young, Jr., Carolyn Allen and Jennifer Boyenga five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Young, who passed away on February 11, 2012. Memorial services for both Lehman and Mary will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post 177, Fairfax, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to The Lehman Young Memorial Fund, American Legion Post 177, 3939 Oak St., Fairfax, VA 22030.

My deepest sympathy to all of Lehman Young's family. My family lived at the end of Oliver Street on Keith Avenue. I walked by his home many times and knew that here was living history. As with so many of those I have known from growing up in Fairfax when one such as Mr. Young dies a big part of Fairfax history dies with him.
