I never met Rick in person, but I liked the man I met on the phone, a man I talked with numerous times. He will be missed at the SEC. Always helpful. Always a problem solver. I am praying for comfort for you his entire family.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I never met with Rick in person as I work in the Chicago office of the SEC, but I had many occasions over the years to work with him. He was my "go-to" person on any Ethics question and he was really the best. He also provided sound and timely advice. I will miss his wise counsel.

I never met Rick in person as I work in the Chicago Office of the SEC, but he was definitively my "go-to" person for any ethics question. He was the absolute best - providing great and timely advice in absolutely every situation. I will miss his wise counsel.

Rick was someone who I found to be very interesting with a nice voice to listen to, something you don't find to frequently in a place like the SEC. He seemed to be a very nice person, though I did not know him personally.

Laura, Ricky and Kayla, Rick was the best. Great counsellor, wise adviser, true friend. A light went out at the SEC last week; I will miss him.
