Dr. MARTIN COLODZIN
On Tuesday, February 12, 2013, physicist, noted psychiatrist and life-long scholar. Beloved husband of Louise Colodzin; loving father of Robin Colodzin, Michelle Colodzin, Daryl and Gene Gincherman; adoring grandfather of Maya and Ella Gincherman. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 15, 2013, 10 a.m. at DANZANSKY-GOLDBERG MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 1170 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. Interment Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. The family will observe Shiva at the residence of Daryl and Gene Gincherman beginning 1 p.m., Friday, Saturday, 5 to 9 p.m. On Sunday, visitors are welcome in the afternoon and evening at the home of Louise Colodzin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

I'm so sorry to hear about Marty's death. I will always remember him as a kind, wise soul and one of my teachers when I was a student intern at U of Md. He let me co-lead his graduate student group with him, always supervising me with gentle intention and good humor. I think of him often as I continue to run that group on campus. May his memory be a blessing to you and your family.

I am shocked to hear of Dr.Colodzin's passing. I have fond memories of Martin in his gifted work with patients in psychiatry. I personally learned a great deal from working alongside Dr. Colodzin. He offered so much knowledge and kindness. He will remain in my memory as quite a dynamic man in his personality and his gifted ability to help those in need. I will miss my colleague and friend.
