Hi Monique - I read with sadness of Jerry's passing today in the Post. I always liked Jerry very much (both of you, really), and I know that you will miss him. My own father died just last week, also from effects of Parkinson's, so we know a little bit of what you have been going thru'.
Travel people always get to know families pretty well and I was laughing on the way to work, remembering the time when Andy was around 20 or so and called us to buy a ticket with his father's credit card, but SANS permission! Boy was Jerry SOME KIND OF MAD!! He didn't even need to use the phone he was yelling so loud and gave us all kinds of grief (we were innocent since we had no idea he hadn't given permission!) anyway I had to raise my right hand and SWEAR that we would never do that again!! (so glad to know Andy is doing so well in his career,,, quite probably that episode was formative for him!!!)
And then there was the time that Jerry unexpectedly had to go from New York to London, but his PASSPORT was in DC!!! What ended up happening was that his office faxed a copy of his passport to NY for him to carry with him. They actually let him on the plane! In the meantime someone from WC went to Dulles and entrusted his actual passport to the BA flight crew and they brought it to London for him. I am unsure how they got the passport into his hands, but in the post-9/11 world that we live in, this type of scenario is quite impossible to imagine!
Our condolences and very best wishes to you & all 3 boys, plus the entire family from Bethesda Travel and from all of the Adelfio's, Guido

I got to know Jerry when we both served as annual-giving callers for the St. Albans School telethon. A thankless task? Hardly. I volunteered for the job every year after that because I knew Jerry would be there with me, always showing up with that great smile, exuding his usual wit and boundless energy. He was smart as they came but no one was more humble, and he gave the world a whole lot more than he took. Such a loss, my sympathy to all the Feffers.

Very sad; my prayers to the family. Jerry was my high school roomate at NDI and one of the smartest people I have ever met. He was one of those people you always wahted to keep up with because he had energy and empathy for everyone. We reconnected at a reunion in South Bend some years back. He had not changed. Character ran deep with Jerry. I am extremeluy sorry for the family's loss.

I don`t know if this is the same Jerry Feffer that was in the room next door to me Freshman year at Lehigh University in 1960 but I presume so. He was lots of fun and I often wondered where his life took him. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. I enjoyed the brief time I knew him and saw his name in paper today. So sorry he is gone. Sincerely, Donald Speakman,Grasonville, Md. 21638

The legendary Jerry was a tough litigator. The Jerry I met was a gently witty man whose warmth, intelligence and good humor were outshone only by his generosity.
