On Wednesday, November 2, 2016, of Germantown, MD. Beloved wife of Mark E. Resner; Sister of Jeanie Nulty (Tim) and Mike Beckman (Elaine); Aunt of Ryan, Julie, Kevin and Jennifer; daughter of the late Alice and John Beckman. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, November 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. Private interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Mark. I just found out 5 minutes ago!! My heart goes out to you and Jo Ann's family. She was so kind and sweet. Memories flooding back to car pool days and when she baked me a 30th birthday cake. Jo Ann will always hold a special place in my heart. Love, Christine

So sorry to hear of Jo Ann's passing. Although I had lost touch since retiring at the NRC I will never forget the friendship we shared. She was a kind hearted person and we had many great times together. She will be truly missed by all.
