James D. Knight (Age 86) Master Chief Petty Officer U.S. Navy (Ret.) Worshipful Master Emeritus Montgomery-Cornerstone Lodge #195
On Tuesday, November 8, 2016, of Olney, MD. Beloved husband of the late Sarah L. "Sally" Knight; father of Sandra J. (Wayne) Grossman, Doris R. (Ed) Clarke and Joyce M. (Rick) Dwyer; brother of Jean Leininger, Doris Gardner, Bill Knight, George Knight, and Frank L. Knight (pre-deceased). Also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, November 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. with a Masonic Memorial Service at 7:45 p.m. Memorial Mass at St. Peter's Church, 2900 Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD, on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 12 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
