VIVIAN LOUISE WASON (Age 91)
On Wednesday, November 9, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD, raised in Mountain Grove, MO, spent last decade of life in Arlington, VA. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Wason; mother of Helen Mealy, the late Michelle Mulkey, Elizabeth Petersen, Marguerite Wason, Edward Wason, Jr., Mary Rocabado, Anthony Wason and Patrick Wason; sister of Veneitta Ragain, the late Arthur Plunk, twin Virginia Queen, Violet Melton and Vona Boothe. A devoted member of St. Michael's Catholic Sodality and Delta Theta Tau's Philanthropic Sorority. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A Committal Service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Brain and Behavior Research Foundation at http://bbrfoundation.donordrive.com/campaign/vivianwason or Partnership With Native Americans at: http://www.nrcprograms.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pwna homewww.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Mom - you will be missed every day. As I said in my poem that I read at your memorial - The house is much too quiet. The music that once filled my home with piano or harmonica playing or you singing your favorite hymns will be missed. Mom my house is much too quiet.
