MARGARET D. SHANLEY (Age 94)
On Wednesday, January 4, 2017, in Annapolis, formerly of Kensington, MD. Beloved wife of the late Edward A. Shanley; daughter of the late John and Rose Devlin; sister of the late Helen Hall and Frances Hutchinson. Margaret is survived by her children, Kathleen Smith (Terry Sullivan), Michael Shanley (Nancy), Tim Shanley (Cathy) and Gary Shanley; grandchildren, Kathleen Shanley, Margaret Shanley, Jennifer Vinson, Brick Shanley, Ryan Shanley and Megan Shanley; great-grandchild, Soilse Ryan; along with many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Holy Cross Church, 4900 Strathmore Avenue, Garrett Park, MD, Wednesday, January 11 from 10 to 11 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Cross Academy; So Others Might Eat (SOME) or Gonzaga College High School.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Oh, we are all so sorry to hear of your loss! Peggy was such a bright shining star all through my life. As such a dear pal of my Mom, Ethel, they all had such a fun time and modeled what it meant to live a full life of family and friends.
