Mariko was such a nice, friendly person. She was an inspiration to all of us in the Forest Knolls neighborhood. Everyday she would walk her dog for at least an hour, no matter how hot or cold it was. I met her when she had Hannah and when Hannah passed away, she adopted an older, sweet, deaf dog, Emma. Mariko always made time to stop and chat with Pumpkin (my dog) and me. I will truly miss Mariko.
