Teresa Holland-Still Obituary
TERESA ANN HOLLAND-STILL (Age 54)
Of Boston, MA formerly of Washington DC, entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2011 after battling a long illness. Teresa was released peacefully at home in Boston while being held close by her dear, loving and devoted husband Kenneth H. Still, her three beautiful children Nkosi, Najah and Nandi Still, step-daughter Kiet Bordley, her eldest sister Linnea Ervin-Still, dear friend Kathy Toon, and a host of other loving relatives and friends by her side. She is also lovingly survived by her grandchildren Quisi and Marquis Cohen, Sisters, Linnea Blocker Ervin-Still, Denise Holland Taylor and Lisa Holland both of Washington DC, Brothers, Richard Blocker of Raleigh, NC, Paul Holland and Joey Holland both of Washington, DC Teresa also leaves a host of loving and close relatives and friends that were very dear to her. She was preceded in death by her parents the late William Kent Holland and Laura Lee Blocker-Holland and by brother Carl Blocker of Washington DC Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Service on Tuesday February 1, 2011 at Jubilee Christian Church, 1500 Blue Hill Ave, Mattapan, MA at 6 p.m. Repast to follow at the Jubilee Christian Church. Donations may be made in Teresa's memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02115 or at www.DanaFarber.org. Arrangements Davis Funeral Home of Boston. This news comes as shock to me and now I am processing this lost.
Tee will always will be a great friend, and great person, she stood out to me though our teen years, again the news today is overwhelming! I wanted to share a thought, lost here.
Tee had an impact on my life, the way she carried herself. Her positive attitude during a conversation, when she disagree how you where handling a situation. ( I will not get into that piece). Her dress style and her smile.
The way she stared life in the face of change without blinking an eye and embracing the opportunities and change for woman’s rights. Then, I had no idea, Myself never wanted to filter that water.
She embraced everyday with the same fortitude and charming, she is love, life and independence. I will meet again.
From my family to your, a quote” Though you must face all tomorrow’s without Tee by your side, Eternal love is your faith, God will always be our Guide”.

Kenny, Nkosi, Najah and Nandi. I am so sorry for your lost. Your wife/mother was a very dear friend to me. My only regret is that I did not get a chance to see her again. It had been over 15 years since I last saw or heard from my old and dear friend. I always think of her and will continue to. Just know that God is taking care of her now. Love ya'll
