Kenneth Ricketts Obituary


KENNETH R. RICKETTS  
July 13, 1943 - April 28, 2013 Preceded in death by parents Carroll and Vivian Ricketts and his sister Janice Pattison-Brown. He is survived by his wife, of 43 years, Linda J. Ricketts. He served two years in Vietnam as a member of the US Army. Kenny worked 25 years for his father's blacktop paving business and he owned and operated Burtonsville Radiator from 1986 until 1995. In retirement, he bought and sold collectibles and was always ready to go to a flea market or auction. Kenny had a passion for riding his bicycle with his friends and for taking care of his colony of cats. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rock Creek Cats, PO Box 203, Garrett Park, MD 20896.

I am so very shocked to hear of Kenny's passing. He was the nicest person and such a gentleman. I will miss seeing him every two weeks at Laurel Auction. This truly breaks my heart.

To the Ricketts Family , we are really saddend by the passing of Kenny. Those of us who knew him At Mickey, D's were we would sit and talk about things will really miss him. Our prayers go out to the family.
