GEORGE McSHAY
Was born on November 26, 1933 to George and Mary McShay and peacefully passed on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. The widower of Corrine McShay and devoted father of George, Juanita, Melleney, Pamela, Jerome, Rita, Robyn, and the late Michael McShay; brother of Steve and Shirley Matthews and the late Dorothy Glasby and Betty Bazemore. He is also survived by a host of loving grandchildren India, Maria, Shawn, Norman, Michael, LaJuane, Marcus, Sesily, and Brianna and great-grandchildren Salina McShay and 22 others. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. Services to follow at 11 a.m. at Pope Funeral Home, 2617 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20020. Officiating Rev. William Swann.
