Col. LOUIS A. CECCHINI (Ret.) "Chick"
On Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Grethe Sjelja Cecchini; father of Al and Charles Cecchini; grandfather of Paul, Daniel, David Cecchini, Johanna McCoskey and the late Vincent Cecchini. Louis was a WWII veteran and served 28 honorable years in the United States Army. Following his retirement from the Army, he spent 17 years working for the Department of Defense. Relatives and friends may call at BORGWARDT FUNERAL HOME, 4400 Powder Mill Road, Beltsville, MD on Monday, November 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary's Street, Laurel, MD 20707 on Tuesday, November 26 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
