TERRY HART LEE
Please join in a celebration of the life of our dear friend Terry Hart Lee, who transitioned from this world with grace and dignity on December 23, 2013. Her celebration will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014, 2 to 5 p.m. at the Howard University School of Law Holy Cross Hall Foyer, 2900 Van Ness St. NW, WDC.

Terry was a close and loyal friend. She had more courage than anyone I know. She lived with integrity, optimism and humor. Even through I moved to the other side of the continent, she stayed close to me and my family. We will miss her.

I just heard of the loss of my dear friend Terry. I first met Terry in 8th grade. Nobody will be surprised when I write that she was a bundle of energy, intelligence, and fun. After high school, I lost touch with her for about 20 years, but I was lucky to re-establish our friendship again. She turned out to be as accomplished and multi-faceted as I'd expected. I am so sorry that her final years were so difficult, but I will always be inspired by the courage and positive manner in which she faced her challenges. It was a privilege to know her. My condolences to her family on their loss.

To Terry's Family,
I worked with Terry at GSA. Terry was the go-to attorney when you wanted to know the case law, very smart. We were so surprised one Christmas when she played this beautiful song on the piano. Terry is a gem!

Terry was a true friend, a smart,dedicated professional, and a wonderful-to-be-with person. I miss her mix of joy and courage. It was an honor to be her co-worker while she was a Special Assistant US Attorney and then to continue our friendship over the years. My whole family grew to know and love her and feel the strength of her outlook on life. Our hearts go out to her beloved family.

Terry shared her expertise with my condominium association in easy to understand language which helped a small group of homeowners gain a better understanding of DC condominium regulations. This waas a blessing! My condolences to the family.

I am missing our dear friend Terry everyday. To have known her for over 20 years as a friend who was always there with advice and cheer, I was so saddened about her passing. I was very sorry to hear of Terry's death. She was a very kind person who always had a smile, words of wisdom and a great since of humor. I had only seen Terry once since she retired from Commerce but thought and asked about her often. It's so sad but she is now resting in peace. May God continue to comfort Terry's family and friends during this time of sorrow. She will be missed.
