Amy, we just learned of your mother's passing. She was one of the most original personalities with such a wit that we've ever known. She 'took on' our daughter, Monica, with her immature 'r' sound. Monica said, 'Mrs. Chase wants me to say the 'r' sound like this ...., so I will, but I don't like the way it sounds! Your mom was a marvel! We all loved her! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughter at this time.

Amy - I taught with your mom at Woodbridge for many years and, after I left, she was the speech pathologists for my daughter Dana. I'm not sure she felt Dana really needed help, but they did have fun hanging out together. When your mother retired, Dana gave a little speech in overdone "Valley Girl" talk, just to show how much progress she'd made under Carole's tutelage. Jane and I adored your mother who was, perhaps, the funniest person I ever met. We had years of laughs. We're in Florida now doing the snowbird thing, but I just wanted you to know we are thinking of you.

It is with a loving and heavy heart that I wish you and Grace peace. May the strength that carried her now be the light on your path as you are the strength for dear Grace. I know that the gene for amazing women runs deep within you, drawn from your remarkable mother and continuing through the eyes of your daughter. Celebrate the life that was and let it help shape the lives that will continue. Love.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. I am sure there are many great memories you have that can and will bring a smile to your face and heart. May the Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our father who loved us give you comfort and comfort your hearts and make you firm. 2 Thess. 2: 16, 17.

Amy and Grace, we're even happier now that we had a chance to see you and have lunch at Striper Bites in Lewes not so long ago. We your parents separately -- I met Frank at CMS; Maureen met Carole at Woodbridge -- but we knew them together for thirty years. They could not have been more proud of both of you. You have our deepest sympathy.
