Dear Tom and Natisha,
I heard of Ellen's passing very late through a member of the UF philosophy department, and only saw the obituary today (May 10). I am very sorry for your loss. Ellen was a very good person and colleague. She always welcomed me in her office and home in Gainesville. I also visited her in Massachusetts. I still have the pair of Birkenstock sandals I bought at a small store where she took me in 1993! I also remember her big poodle Zoe who was full of life. In the last years after she moved to D.C. I would have a chat with her at the Eastern division meetings of the APA. She was a great lady. Glad that you could be with her to the end.
Best wishes,
Ofelia

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. I am sure there are many great memories you have that can and will bring a smile to your face and heart. May the Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our father who loved us give you comfort and comfort your hearts and make you firm. 2 Thess. 2: 16, 17.

Dear Tom and family,
Just a note to let you know that we are thinking about you during this difficult time. Ellen was a very accomplished person and a joy to know. We will always remember her "stays" in the Berkshires, the place she loved so much, she will certainly be missed.
God speed Ellen!
