TAMARA GLISS Obituary
Tamara Larnetta Gliss "Yamz"
Suddenly on Monday, May 25, 2015, devoted mother of DeVontae; beloved daughter of Sandra Gliss and the late Larry B. Herring; sister of Ronald, Malik, Gregory; sister/cousin of Keith and Tommie; granddaughter of Joyce Pratt; and fiance, Jonathan McKinney. She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Moses and Delores Gliss. She will be truly missed by her aunts, uncles, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. On Saturday, June 6, 2015, friends my visit with the family from 9 a.m. until time of celebration at 11 a.m. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 816 8th street, NW. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.

Although we met under these circumstances, I am truly blessed that our paths crossed. My heart is deeply saddened because of the loss of your daughter and mother. Sandy Sometimes it's hard to find the words to express our feelings to those in bereavement. This is to let you and your family's know that our family is thinking about you during this time. Please know that our family is praying that you will find comfort in knowing that our LORD and Savior JESUS the CHRIST makes no mistakes. I pray that GOD will keep his everlasting arms around you during your time of bereavement and wipe the tears from your weeping eyes. For the bible teaches us to, Trust in the Lord will all your hearts and lean not on your own understanding. Proverb 3: 5.
