My first time meeting Mr. Huther was in the mid 70s when I was 9 and became friends with Stacey and Chris. Our families met through ice skating and though I only had a handful of encounters with Mr. Huther, he was always very nice to me and made me feel welcome in their home.I was unable to pay my respects in person due to coming across the article in the Washington Post a week too late. I want to send my condolences from the entire DiMassimo family to the Huthers. I am so sorry to hear about your dad, grandpa, brother, friend and Uncle. I know you each have so many special and loving memories with him.
Sincerely,
Paula DiMassimo

The photos, music and words that you all chose for the memorial were so special. The care you took in preparing for the day was so evident. It told such a warm and heartfelt story of respect, admiration, and most of all, love. Among so many other things, as Chris said "He was built to be a grandpa." Rest in peace, Brad, and peace to Lisa, Chris, Claire, Emma, Vicky and all the family and friends who will carry him in their hearts and mirror his wonderful qualities. God bless.
