GERALD DORR Obituary
GERALD DONALD DORR, SR. "Jerry" (Age 81)
Of Lothian, MD, passed away peacefully at Manatee Hospital in Bradenton, Florida on May 16, 2016. Born on February 25, 1935 to Milton Dorr and Helen (Tonker) Kurtz. Growing up in SW, Washington D.C. he moved to Oxon Hill MD and lived for 37 years until he married Wanda Dorr on June 5, 1993 and moved to Lothian, MD. Gerald was raised in Washington D.C. and attended Chamberlin High School. He leaves to celebrate his life, wife Wanda Jean Dorr; brothers "Nick" Kurtz (Margaret), George Kurtz (Lea), Raymond Kurtz (Agnes), sister "Jenny" Willis (Dave) predeceased Richard and Lloyd Kurtz. He is also survived by his sons Gerald Donald Dorr Jr. (Lora), Eric Dorr (Kat), Terry Dorr, and daughters Megan Ashworth (Lawrence) and predeceased Mischa Dorr-Ames (Darius). Survived by the mother of his children, Alicia Dorr. Stepfather to Kelly Simon, sons Andy Stallings (Tammi) and predeceased Chris Stallings. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church Hall in Sunderland, MD on June 6, 2016

Jerry was a wonderful man and will be missed. He was a dear friend and confidant and was an awesome husband and father to all his children and step children. May he rest in peace in eternal life along with his loved ones who have passed before him.
