JERROLD CAPLIN Obituary
LT JERROLD L. CAPLIN, USN (Ret.) January 25, 1930 - June 22, 2016
Jerrold L. Caplin of Gaithersburg, MD, son of the late Samuel H. and Kate (nee Socloff) Caplin, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in Montgomery County, MD. He is the beloved brother of Richard Caplin (and his late wife, Arlene) of Richboro, PA. He has three nephews: Kenneth Caplin (wife, Nancy) of Richboro, PA, Lawrence Caplin (wife, Kelli) of Pipersville, PA and Keith Caplin of Phoenix, AZ. Jerrold was a Nuclear Physicist for the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission and a retired member of the US Navy. He had a passion for language, photography and was a devoted book collector. Interment with Full Navy Military Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, February 16 at 11 a.m. (Those wishing to attend should assemble at the Administration Building NO LATER than 10:15 a.m.) Please view and sign the family guest book at: www.PumphreyFuneralHome.com
