Rodney Zahrt Obituary
Rodney M. Zahrt, 54, of Wausau, passed away on August 4, 2017.
Rodney was born on April 26, 1963 to Wilton and Jean (Winter) Zahrt in Wausau. He married Linda Nigbur in Wausau and they raised their daughter Taylor.
Rodney was a long-time employee of Kolbe and Kolbe, having worked there for 27 and a half years. He enjoyed woodworking projects and was an avid deer and pheasant hunter. He loved snowmobiling, water-skiing, fishing, and especially motorcycle riding.
Rodney is survived by his daughter, Taylor; mother, Jean Zahrt; brother Harlan (Mary) Zahrt; step-brother, Richard (Jeanne) Zahrt; and four nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilton and his grandparents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on August 11, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church, 709 North 6th Street, Wausau. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of services at the church. Burial will follow the service at Pine Grove Cemetery.

To the entire Zahrt Family, my heart goes out to you. May the Lord hold you in his loving embrace, and carry you with his promise. I went to Zion School and Wausau East High with Rodney. He always had a laugh and a smile for you. I last got to speak with him at church before Father's Day.
