Even though Gary was 3 years ahead of me at West Pike, we had the commonality of growing up in New Canton, the Methodist Church and music. He sang at our wedding 42 years ago and it was, of course, very special. He had an amazing voice and a smile for everyone. I hope there is a special angel watching over him.

I was only at West Pike for one year. But I remember Gary and his wonderful voice. I sang a duet with Gary at one time and I thought wow I got to sing with Gary.
All his family are in my heart and prayers and may God comfort you through this time of need.

I was a classmate of Gary's and remember him fondly as a good-looking blonde young man with a terrific voice. He was always fun and caring. My sympathy goes out to his children, grandchildren and sisters.
God grant you comfort in the coming days.

Gary was an underclassman while i was at good ole West Pike High and he did indeed have a very good singing voice performing often for the events of high school days that most of can remember.
I also knew Gary as a business man along with some farming being a very friendly fellow to converse with.
Condolences to the family & may God Bless !

Gary was one of the "neighbor kids" in New Canton where we grew up. We will always remember his smile, humor, and singing and entertainment. He will be missed by everyone. Love, Dot Day McCoy
