I continue to feel the love of music shared with Chris as I recorded singing with him several times, attending his jam sessions when available. When someone reads this, if they have access to any of his recordings of Susan´L Taft please share & keep his memory alive. He was one of the most exceptional musicians I ever sang with. Respectfully,
Sussn L Taft

I'm so sad to hear that Chris passed several years ago. I was thinking of him today, searched online, and found his obituary. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Chris was a beautiful soul, a magnificent musician and one of my great loves. We met on the cruise ship and connected briefly in Phoenix. He positively impacted and changed my life, and helped me through a difficult time when my Mom had breast cancer. I'm a fellow bass player and was in awe of his talent. I'm so grateful for the time we spent together. I cried all day today when I learned he had passed. The world lost a beautiful man. His soul lives on in his family, in his loved ones, and in me. So sorry I am 9 years late. I hope that this message brings your heart joy in the knowing that Christopher loved and was loved deeply.

Chris introduced me to music (the mandolin) as a very patient teacher. In Phoenix, we had lessons at our home, followed by a nice dinner where Chris talked about his family as well as gigs including Crystal Cruise lines, local Phoenix bands, & even Bo Didley. We laughed and shared stories for hours. We will miss Chris and we are very sorry for his loss. To those who shared in his love of music and friends, his melodies and rhythms will be in our hearts forever.
