Arthur Mullaney Obituary

Arthur P. Mullaney Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2018, at home in Kingston, surrounded by his family. Arthur was born in Malden, May 20, 1936, to the late Edith and Arthur Mullaney. Arthur is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy (Mickelsen) Mullaney. He was the loving father of son Jeffrey and wife Brenda, son, Timothy and wife Bonnie, both of Canton, and daughter, Lynn and husband Kenny Lizotte of Blackstone; cherished Papa of Stephen, Bobby, Emily Mullaney and Danny and Susan Lizotte. Visiting hours will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rte. 106), in Kingston, on Wednesday, January 31, from 4-8 and a celebratory Mass on February 1, at 11 at St. Marys in North Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. To offer condolences or for more information, please visit www.shepherdfuneralhome.com.

Affectionately known as Oscar by his Bates football teammates, Art had a terrific sense of humor, studied occasionally, and was known and liked by all students. He was a good player, never gave up, and worked tirelessly to get better .
