To the entire Millican family. It was my
pleasure and privllege to know Harold. I
knew Harold through my uncle Jimmy Drown,
his good friend. They would come into the pool store that I owned and spend time asking quetions about why their pools were cloudy, green, ect., wich I
hopefully helped solve. I later found out that Harold and his wife gave swimming lessons at his house in Lexington and had been doing so for a number of years. I took a special interest in whatever Harolds pool issues were mainly due to the way he exlained what the problem was and the way he listned to the solution. Harold was a true gentleman, an old school gentleman.
He never came in without a smile on his
face no mater what the problem was.I dont
think he ever had a bad word to say about anybody. It truly made my day when he and my Uncle would come into my store. He will be missed by all that knew him.

To the Millican Family. I am sad to hear about Harold's passing. I knew him as a dear friend of Jim Drown. They used to come into our store, Everclear Pool & Leisure, together. Jim's nephew Dave and Steve & Phil Abramo and myself so enjoyed the time. Though I did not know him for a long time, it wasn't necessary to see that he was just one of the most wonderful people that I have ever met. His presence and being just filled you with happiness and optimism. We never wanted them to leave.

Dear Mrs. Millican, Carol, Brenda, Carl and all the Millican Family, I have such memories of your family growing up in Lexington, from the time Carol and I met in second grade at Fiske School and played in the gardens together. The first pair of flip flops I ever had on my feet were Carol's!! And all those Camp Fire Girl meetings at your house. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband and Dad. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
