Years of being near Tim taught me some traits of his treatment of life: simple but no simplified, calm but not dispassioned, caring but not sentimental. This is perhaps only my personal take but I feel I really loved him.

We didn't know your dad well, but sure do know you and Melissa and know that he and your Mom did great work in making such lovely children. Jim and I are thinking of you, and wish you peace.

The day we met I was in that interview suit and you were casual right down to your sandals. You helped me be at ease and it was pleasure to know you. You'll be missed.

I owe a lot to Tim in my life although our close contact wan't extensive or especially long. Well, would one consider living in his house for three months or being for almost 10 years together in a small software company not extensive or not long? Anyway, I always admired him. And will miss.
